Radovan Zivny (*1973, Czech Republic)
A trained graphic designer (Atelier of Graphic Design of Vitezslav Svalbach, Masaryk University Brno, 1993 -1996)
1997 beggins to sculpt the untraditional ephemeral media - sand. Within a few years his work recognised as being world class - taking part in the most prestigious sand events around the globe.
Later starts sculpting more traditional materials, mainly wood and iron.
2010 - 2013 Art-director of GOLDEN SAND FESTIVAL (Czech rep.)
2012 - 2013 Director of the cultural association ArtCONFRONTO (Portugal)
